The actual dates are Actual Start and Actual Finish. Until a project is under way and you enter at least one actual date, MacProject II uses a task’s Earliest Start date for the Actual Start and the Earliest Finish date for the Actual Finish. But when you enter at least one actual date, MacProject II calculates the rest of the actual dates for the schedule.
It is important to keep in mind that actual dates may not all be the dates on which tasks really begin and end—many of them can be projected dates based on whatever real dates you have provided.

Any date you set for a task or milestone overrides the date calculated by MacProject II. Dates you set are underlined in the Schedule Chart and the Project Table so that you can easily recognize them.
If you set a date that cannot be met, given the other information you have provided, the date is boldfaced and underlined.
